WHEEL ALIGNMENT AND
BALANCING
People often get confused between wheel alignment and wheel balancing. They are completely different:
3D WHEEL ALIGNMENT
Wheel alignment: or tracking as it’s sometimes called, consists of adjusting the angles of the wheels so that they are as specified by your vehicle manufacturer. If your alignment is not within specification you will most likely suffer premature/uneven tyre wear or you may notice your steering wheel pulling to one side. We would recommend Having wheel alignment carried out with every set of tyres fitted. We have recently installed a state of the art Snap On v2200 3d wheel alignment system to ensure the most accurate alignment possible which includes a detailed before and after printout
WHEEL BALANCING
Wheel balancing is due to a weight imbalance between the wheels and tyres which can be rectified by adding/removing weights from your wheel, this problem usually results in a wobble or vibration in your car, notably at motorway speeds and often through your steering wheel. Wheel balancing is carried out free of charge with all tyres fitted on our digital wheel balancer
